NEW CONVENTION CENTRE IN GATINEAU: BRIGIL OFFERS ITS FULL COOPERATION

Earlier this week, the commitment of two political parties to provide downtown Gatineau with a new convention centre was favourably received by Gilles Desjardins, founding president of Brigil.

The businessman, known for his entrepreneurial spirit and his undying love for the Outaouais region where he was born and raised, does not hide his enthusiasm for the project.

"This is great news for downtown Gatineau and its merchants," says Gilles Desjardins. "No matter where this future centre takes root in the downtown area, the entire Outaouais region will benefit from it.

The current centre hosts approximately 300 conventions per year. The arrival of a more modern, better located, higher capacity centre would significantly increase the number of people coming from all over, allowing Gatineau and its merchants to shine throughout the world.

Brigil offers its full cooperation to government authorities and encourages all promoters to work together to achieve this structuring and unifying project.

"I've been saying it for many years, the beauty of the National Capital Region is a well-kept secret. It's music to my ears to be able to help people discover and appreciate the riches of our city," concludes Gilles Desjardins.
