The co-chairs of the 80th campaign – Gilles, Jessy and Kevin Desjardins of Brigil – are setting a new milestone in the history of philanthropy in the Outaouais.
At a press conference at Canevas in Gatineau, accompanied by members of Centraide Outaouais management, they announced a historic donation of $1 million as part of the organization’s 80th campaign. Centraide Outaouais has set an ambitious goal of $4.5 million for this campaign. The funds raised are intended to provide support to 88 organizations in the region that fight poverty and social exclusion by providing essential services to the most vulnerable people in our community.
“Giving back is part of my story, the one passed on by my father and that I continue today with my sons. Over the past 40 years, I have supported more than 400 causes, always driven by the desire to help people here thrive. Today, the needs are great, and it is essential to act.
