Brigil is pleased to learn about a $10 million investment by Soudure Marc Marine for the construction of a new 28,000-square-foot factory in Gatineau’s industrial Aeropark. The company will also acquire new equipment, significantly increasing its production capacity.
With financial assistance from the governments of Canada and Québec, Marc Lauzon, Founder and Owner of Soudure Marc Marine, plans to double production.
Gilles Desjardins, President & Founder of Brigil, stated: “Marc Marine has been a major supplier to our company for many years. Working with them is a pleasure because Marc Lauzon and his team are always in solution mode to meet our needs.”
For example, with the technology currently in place, fabricating stairs takes three hours. The new equipment will reduce that time to just six minutes.
With 115 employees, the company plans to hire about a dozen more.
